Inserting your Cup

Wash hands with water and mild soap.
Use preferred method to fold cup. With your cup firmly folded, stand, sit or raise one of your legs and guide it towards your vagina.
Relaxing pelvic muscles gently separate your labia with other hand.
Guide your cup into your vagina, pointing it upwards and slightly toward your tailbone. Try to keep the cup folded until it is entirely inside of your vagina.
Gently release your folded cup it will pop open and seal to your vaginal walls, not to your cervix.
Run a finger along the base of your cup to check for folds and gently try to rotate the cup to test that it is sealed. If your cup has sealed, it will not yield to your attempts to rotate it. Once placed correctly and sealed, your cup will stay in place and collect your flow.

Wash hands with water and mild soap.
Relaxing is essential for the removal of your cup. You can stand, sit or squat to remove your cup.
Insert your fingers into your vagina and locate the base of your cup. If you cannot reach it, gently bear your weight down and pull on the stem until you feel the base of the cup.
Once you grab the base of the cup, pinch the bottom in order to release the sealing suction.
Holding the base of the cup shimmy it side to side while guiding it out. Keep the cup upright to avoid spills.
Once empty and clean, re-insert your cup as outlined in the Insertion section of this User Guide. If your period is finished, store your cup in its original cotton bag or in any breathable container.

Use water and mild soap to wash hands and cup between uses throughout your cycle.
Between periods, fully sanitize your cup using your EcoBlossom Sterilizer. Place your cup inside, fill the case halfway with water, and microwave for 3-5 minutes. Keep an eye on it while microwaving and let it cool before handling.
Let your cup and sterilizer cool completely before opening, as the case and water will be hot. Air dry your cup fully before storing to prevent bacteria growth.
Once dry, store your cup in its original cotton bag or any breathable container, away from direct sunlight.

TSS is a rare but serious condition linked to prolonged use of menstrual products. Symptoms may include fever, dizziness, muscle aches, nausea, or a sunburn-like rash. If you experience any of these, remove your cup or disc immediately and seek medical attention.
To minimize risk, always remove and clean your product at least every 12 hours and sterilize it between cycles. If you’ve had TSS before, consult your doctor before use.
